FALL 2006
(12-14-06) The season has ended and the playoffs will begin next week. Congratulations to The Shooters who put in back to back 13-0 wins for the final 2 weeks to shoot all the way into first place. Some slip ups by the other teams in the "A" division helped them along but regardless it's good to see a new team play hard and earn the top spot. We also have another new team win in the "B" division. The SYers took first place honors mainly because of the "A" player Ed Farr helping carry the team into the "A" division for next season. Congratulations to Ed for getting the "B" Division MVP as well with a very good 23.56 average. The final BULL has been posted. All of the play off information is listed below.
(12-14-06) Playoffs Schedule The draw has been done for this seasons play offs. As always, this was a completely random draw. It looks good for some of the "B" teams on how things worked out so I really believe that ANY team can win it this year! We will have 2 matches this next week and then we will have a 2 week break for Christmas and New Years with the next matches happening on January 9th

(12-8-06) Playoffs for The CUP to begin Dec 19th
We have one week left of regular league
play. After that we begin the playoffs for the CUP. The bottom four
teams based on winning percentage will be playing off against each other
on Dec 19th. All of the rest of the teams will not play until January
9th. The new season will begin either January 30th or February 6th depending on whether we have all of the teams and venues locked in in a timely manner
(11-27-06) Blind Draws now at The Maverick Saloon Beginning this evening the Monday night Blind Draw tourneys will be held at the Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez. A much closer drive for those of you in Santa Barbara (only 25 minutes) who want one more night of fun darts. The Maverick is located in old town Santa Ynez right next to Grappolo.

(11-13-06) Firestone No more! It is with major disappointment that I have to announce that after 1 full year of hard work building up the Firestone establishment as a great meeting place for dart players in the North County they have elected to give us the boot. Maybe my $30 a night tab wasn't enough for them in addition to the other 16 people we brought in every Monday??? We were almost the only ones there. But there is a bright light at the end of this tunnel! The classic Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez has opened their arms to us on both Monday and Tuesday Eves. This is GREAT news for all the SB players. The Maverick is only a 25 minute drive from the bottom of 154 in Santa Barbara. This is at least 20 minutes closer to everyone than driving to Firestone. Also, they have a full bar, not just beer and wine. And their prices are more reasonable too. We only have one more match at Firestone and that is tonight. After that we will be moving the portable stand ups over to the Maverick. So blow off the dust on that old cowboy hat in your closet and get on those boot straps. It's darts with a YEEEEHAAA!
(10-25-06) Halloween BYE Week Take a break from throwing darts next week and go get yourself some candy from your neighbors. Or stay home and drink some wine and hand out the candy to the kids. Or do what I did 2 years ago and stuff yourself with hay and dress up like a scarecrow, put scary music on and sit on your front porch waiting to scare the hell out of the kids at the door! Way too fun for words. My favorite Halloween I ever had!

(10-24-06) Whew!!! Got the computer back! How did we all live before computers? Don't know about you but I have become so reliant on them. Well, I guess the league has too as none of you have seen stats in weeks. Well we're back up and running. I will deliver tonight's Bull to everyone along with last weeks so you can bask in your former weeks glory. Let's hope this is the last time for a VERY LONG time I have a motherboard go bad. Now, back to the trebles! (10-5-06) First night complete We're off to a rip roaring start to a new season. I think once you take a look at this weeks Bullshooter that there is no doubt this league is as strong as ever (look out Ventura for the All star match this year!). We have some great new players joining us for the first time and even an old familiar face we haven't seen in awhile that makes me believe this season is going to be one for the ages. This is the short season where everyone plays everyone only one time so every game is extremely important. With Dargan's off to a sweep on the first night, this means war and I smell blood! 8*) Should be a great time for everyone and make this season extremely interesting. For those who play at Firestone for any matches, please make sure to be there by 6:30PM and ready to throw your first dart NO LATER than 7PM. That is the rule for every venue but at Firestone they close at 10PM.
